FLO^® Developer Challenge

FLO TV Incorporated is proud to announce a developer challenge that provides a cash award for the winning mobile application designed to leverage the FLO TV™ multicast network. This year's challenge is to develop a compelling BREW MP™- or Android™-based datacasting application concept for the FLO TV™ service, a live mobile TV service that combines a variety of programming from premium brands, an intuitive user interface and a superior multicast network to deliver a quality viewing experience for consumers. A total of $25,000 in prize money will be awarded! No purchase necessary to enter.

• Congratulations to the top 5 finalists. The following individuals will proceed to Round 2:

  • Tamer Kafafi

The winner will be announced on or about October 15, 2010.

• 1^st Prize: U.S. $20,000
• Runner Up #1: U.S. $2,500
• Runner Up #2: U.S. $2,500

Timeline

• July 1, 2010: Contest opens
• July 30, 2010: Concept submissions due
• August 13, 2010: Finalists notified
• October 1, 2010: Finalist submissions due
• A winner will be selected on or about October 15, 2010
