Skifta is a media shifting service developed by Qualcomm, enabling consumers to stream internet or home-based media from their mobile devices to consumer electronics (TV, PS3, IP radios etc.) wherever they might be. This service is already in beta, and you can check it out at www.skifta.com. The Skifta service currently enables shifting of media, but soon will enable apps (Skifta Boosters) to be downloaded to allow internet media to be streamed through the mobile device to local consumer electronics. We're looking for talented, visionary developers and internet media companies who want to build services on the connected home via Skifta.

- Business Session – This will be an introduction to the Skifta service along with a discussion of the service capabilities and revenue opportunities for those interested in business development.
- Technical Overview Session – This technical overview is high level engineering focused and will enable developers to understand the Skifta architecture, platform, see some sample applications, their code and how it works.
- Deep Dive Engineering Session – This session is for developers who have already downloaded the SDK from the Skifta web site (http://developers.skifta.com). You will spend time with engineers who can explain how to develop applications for Skifta, and answer any software development questions.
