Invoices and receipts
How to ask for billing records and what information helps Uplinq find the right invoice or receipt.
The short version
Use your account or billing support path to ask for an invoice or receipt. Include the company name, charge date, amount, and the billing contact if you know it.
When you may need one
You may need an invoice or receipt for:
- internal expense records;
- reimbursement;
- tax records;
- confirming a charge;
- sharing billing support with a finance or operations teammate.
What to include in the request
Include as much of this as you can:
- company name;
- billing contact name or email;
- charge date;
- charge amount;
- payment method nickname or last few digits, if visible;
- invoice number, if you already have one;
- where you want the record sent.
Do not include full payment details.
If you need records for more than one company
If your Uplinq account includes multiple companies or entities, list the companies you need records for. That helps Uplinq avoid sending the wrong record or missing one.
If an invoice does not match what you expected
Ask billing support to review it and include what looks wrong. For example:
- the amount is different than expected;
- the company name is wrong;
- the period looks wrong;
- you expected a different service line;
- you see a charge but cannot find a matching record.
