Help Center/Account & Billing/Where to ask questions

Where to ask questions

How to choose between answering a task, leaving context, contacting your bookkeeper, or asking about billing and account support.

The short version

Ask the question where the work is happening. Answer task-specific requests in the app.

Leave context on the related file or transaction. Contact your Uplinq bookkeeper for bookkeeping questions. Use your billing or support path for account and payment questions.

For service expansion, pause, cancellation, or reactivation, work with your Uplinq sales representative or accounting manager.

Start with the task if Uplinq asked for something

If Uplinq asks you for a file, statement, app access, bank connection, or transaction answer, respond from that task whenever you can.

That keeps your answer connected to the work and helps the right team see it.

Use comments for context

Use a comment when a short explanation would help Uplinq understand the item.

Good comments are specific:

  • what the transaction was for;
  • which customer, vendor, account, or period it relates to;
  • whether it was business, personal, transfer, loan, owner activity, or something else;
  • what you are asking Uplinq to review.

If Uplinq gave you a structured question to answer, answer the question first. Add a comment only if extra context is needed.

Contact your Uplinq bookkeeper for bookkeeping questions

Your Uplinq bookkeeper or bookkeeping team is the right path for questions like:

  • "Why does this report look different than I expected?"
  • "How should I think about this category?"
  • "What is still needed before this month is final?"
  • "Can you review this transaction or document?"

If your Home page shows contact information or scheduling options, use the path shown there.

Use account or billing support for account questions

Use your account or billing support path for questions about:

  • charges;
  • invoices or receipts;
  • payment methods;
  • failed payments;
  • account access.

For billing questions, include the company name, charge date, amount, invoice or receipt if you have one, and what you want Uplinq to review. Do not send full payment details in a normal message.

For service changes, plan changes, pause, cancellation, reactivation, or expanded scope, work with your Uplinq sales representative or accounting manager.
