By connecting your bank and credit cards to QBO and integrating QBO with Uplinq, you're setting yourself up for streamlined financial management and more efficient bookkeeping.
Steps to connecting accounts to QBO
- Sign in to your QBO account.
- Go to Bookkeeping, select Transactions.
- From the Bank transactions tab, click on Link account.
- Search for your bank or use the correct URL when you log in to your bank's website.
- Enter your bank's username and password.
- Choose the type of account.
- Choose how far back you want to download bank transactions, select 2 years if possible.
- Click Connect.
Hint: Use the Link account dropdown to manage existing bank connections within your QBO account.

- Invite Uplinq to be your Accountant: Invite Uplinq to be your Accountant or Accounting Firm. Help doc here.
- Connect QBO and your Uplinq account: Sign in to your Uplinq account and connect QBO under Your Accounting Connections. Help doc here.
- Maintain connections with your Financial Institutions: Make sure that your bank and credit card stay connected to QBO and Uplinq. If you change your password, access to your account will need to be restored.

- For security reasons, you may receive a verification code from your bank to confirm the connection.
