File request statuses

What each File Request status means and how to know whether Uplinq still needs something from you.

The short version

In Data Hub > File Requests, statuses are cues for what may need attention. TODO usually means Uplinq is waiting on you.

Pending Review usually means Uplinq is reviewing what was submitted. Complete usually means the request no longer needs action from you.

Where to find File Request statuses

Go to Data Hub and open File Requests. Requests are grouped by status so you can see what still needs action and what Uplinq is already reviewing.

You may also see file-related tasks from Home or My Projects. Those tasks usually point back to a request in Data Hub.

What each status means

StatusWhat it usually meansWhat you should do
TODOUplinq is usually waiting on a document, file, statement, report, or other information from you.Open the request and upload or provide what is being asked for.
Pending ReviewSomething has usually been submitted and Uplinq needs to review it.You usually do not need to upload the same item again unless Uplinq asks.
CompleteUplinq usually no longer needs action from you for that request.Nothing else is usually needed unless Uplinq asks or a new request appears later.

Why a request may not complete immediately

Uploading a file does not always mean the request is fully complete right away. Uplinq may need to check whether the file is the right document.

The team may also check whether it covers the right period, belongs to the right account, or answers the original request.

That review step is why a request may stay in Pending Review before Uplinq updates it.

What to check before uploading

Before you upload, make sure the file matches the request:

  • correct account;
  • correct year or month;
  • correct file type;
  • correct business or entity;
  • all pages included;
  • readable file, not a cropped screenshot unless Uplinq specifically asked for one.

If a status looks wrong

If you uploaded the wrong file, cannot find the request, or believe a request should already be complete, contact your Uplinq team. Use the closest related task and include:

  • the request name;
  • the account or period;
  • what you uploaded;
  • why you think it needs review.
