Main app sections
A simple map of the main Uplinq app sections and when to use each one.
Use Home to see what needs attention now. Use My Projects to understand progress. Use Data Hub for files, requests, accounts, and connections. Use Transactions to review activity and answer questions.
Home: what needs attention now
Home is the first place to check when you want to know what Uplinq needs from you.
It may show:
- task cards;
- project progress;
- financial snapshots;
- account or connection status;
- your Uplinq contact information.
If you only have a minute, start with Home and clear the tasks that are waiting on you.
My Projects: where your work stands
My Projects shows the bigger workstreams Uplinq is completing for you. A project may include several task types, such as files requested, bank connection work, transaction questions, or missing statements.
Use My Projects when you want to understand:
- what Uplinq is working on;
- which tasks are complete;
- which tasks still need attention;
- whether a project is current, future, or completed.
Data Hub: files, accounts, and source data
Data Hub is where Uplinq organizes the source material needed to keep your books complete.
Common areas include:
- Banking & Credit Cards for account-level status;
- Connections for banking connections;
- Files for uploaded documents;
- File Requests for documents Uplinq has asked for;
- Third-Party Apps and Credentials when Uplinq needs access or information from another tool.
If the question is about documents, statements, connections, or access, Data Hub is usually the right place to look.
Transactions: activity that needs review
Transactions is where you review business activity and answer questions about specific transactions.
Use Transactions when you need to:
- search or review transaction activity;
- answer a transaction question;
- give context about a payee;
- explain how a transaction should be treated.
The Questions area is different from the full transaction list. Questions are the items Uplinq is specifically asking you to answer.
Reports and Payees are reference areas
Your account may also include report and review areas such as Financial Overview, Profit & Loss, Balance Sheet, Multi-Entity Summary, or Payees.
Use those areas when you want to understand your financial results, review payees, or see how your books are coming together. If a report looks off while onboarding or cleanup is still underway, check whether Uplinq is still waiting on tasks from you.
