Project task types
What File Requests, transaction questions, bank connections, credentials, and other Uplinq project tasks mean.
Project tasks are the specific items that move Uplinq's work forward. Open the task, follow the path it gives you, and add context if something does not apply.
How to read a project task
A task usually tells you three things:
- what Uplinq needs;
- where to complete it;
- whether it is still waiting on action.
If a task is marked done or complete, it usually means no further action is needed from you for that item.
Common task types

If a task does not apply
Do not leave it silent if you know it does not apply. Add a short comment or contact your Uplinq team with the reason.
Examples:
- the account was closed;
- the document does not exist;
- the app is no longer used;
- the transaction was personal;
- the payee should not receive a W-9.
Even a short note helps Uplinq avoid chasing the wrong item.
If the task asks for sensitive access
Use the secure app flow for credentials or app access. Do not put passwords, MFA codes, full account numbers, or private login details in a normal comment, email, or text.
