Display & mobile

Switching between light and dark mode, and using Uplinq on your phone.

The short version

Uplinq works best in a modern desktop browser for review-heavy work, but you can use a phone browser for quick checks, uploads, and answers. If something feels cramped on mobile, switch to a desktop or tablet before making detailed report or transaction decisions.

Use desktop for deeper review

Desktop is usually best for:

  • reading Profit & Loss or Balance Sheet reports;
  • drilling into transactions;
  • reviewing many transaction questions;
  • uploading several files;
  • comparing multiple companies or entities;
  • checking detailed tables.

The wider screen gives you more room to see columns, filters, and context.

Use mobile for quick tasks

Mobile can be useful when you need to:

  • check whether Uplinq needs something from you;
  • upload a document you already have on your phone;
  • answer a simple transaction question;
  • read a message or task;
  • confirm whether a file request is still open.

If a task requires careful review, open it again from a larger screen.

If a table or report is hard to read

Try:

  • rotating your phone;
  • zooming out;
  • using a tablet or desktop;
  • checking whether the page has filters or expandable rows;
  • exporting a report if export is available and you need to work with it outside Uplinq.

Light and dark mode

Your display may follow your browser, system, or Uplinq setting depending on your setup. If the screen is hard to read, check your browser or device display settings first, then contact Uplinq if the app still looks wrong.

If an upload fails on mobile

If an upload fails on mobile, try the same upload from a desktop browser when you can. This is a practical troubleshooting step, especially for large PDFs, bank statements, or files stored in another app. If it still fails, contact your Uplinq team and include the file type, approximate file size, and where you were trying to upload it.
